Hi, I’m San!

My full name is Sandra M. Rebeor and I have been interested in health and wellness since entering the U.S. Army over 20 years ago, being trained in preventive medicine. I really enjoyed working in the public health arena and especially loved the emphasis on the prevention of diseases, both infectious and chronic. As I learned more, I realized how many ailments could be prevented via simple steps and healthy or healthier lifestyle habits. That’s when I started to delve deeper and once I had my daughter (Jackie) and son (Luke), I got certified as a Group Fitness Instructor and my journey led me to start teaching in higher education at the university level in the broad field of health and wellness. Along the way, I earned a few more certifications, my doctorate degree, and more experience. I am a curious person by trait, always asking “why?”, “how can we make things better?”, and “how can everyone be better?”.

I am consistently looking to learn more from others and the developments in the field, and pass on my knowledge to improve others’ lives so everyone can be truly well. Being well from the inside out is critical to thrive in every dimension of life. That is when my idea for Well 2 Thrive was born.   Let’s get well, be well, and stay well – together…Cheers to your health!  Learn more ABOUT ME, MY EXPERTISE, CREDENTIALS, AND HOBBIES… San earned her Psy.D. in Health and Wellness Psychology and teaches numerous courses in the wellness arena, including stress management, psychology (especially health and wellness psychology), public health, and applied behavioral sciences at the University of Arizona Global Campus.
